Seasons Change
The HH44 made its US debut at the Annapolis Boat Show. 'Abide' is a Sports Cruising (SC) version complete with daggerboards, carbon mast and our electric hybrid EcoDrive. Hundreds of eager show-goers were delighted by the 44s's sleek lines, tech-savvy systems, powerful rigging and sophisticated interiors. Members of our international sales and service team met with dozens of prospective HH44, HH52 and HH56 buyers, and hosted owners and those with boats on order at the annual HH dock party. Our sights are now set on the Dusseldorf Boat Show in January and the Miami International Boat Show in February, where we aim to have multiple boats on display. HH Catamarans is thrilled to announce the imminent launch of Hull 01 of the much-anticipated, all carbon, electric hybrid, forward cockpit HH52. HH52-01 'Taboo' will be shipped to the US where she'll undergo commissioning and thorough testing before being delivered to her owners and eventually making her way to the Caribbean in the Spring. Stay tuned as we take you behind the scenes for this exciting new model launch.
The HH Catamarans build team shipped three boats this month, with a fourth scheduled to depart by December 1st. HH44-05, HH50-09, HH60-03 and HH52-01 will arrive stateside by year's end, bringing the total 2024 launch count to eight. The Xiamen and Cebu yards have been steadily ramping up production and are on track to deliver 20 boats in 2025. HH44 'Abide' and HH50 'Off-Piste' joined this year's Salty Dawg Rally, sailing from Hampton, VA to Antigua amongst a fleet of nearly 100 boats. After a quick stop in Bermuda, Abide and Off Piste pointed the bows South and made quick work of the 1000NM in variable conditions. HH44 Abide reported sustained boat speeds in excess of 10kts and maximum speeds in the high teens while surfing waves in two meter swells, a solid offshore test for the newly launched 44. Having clocked over 2200NM since arriving in the US in September, 44-04 and crew can now settle in for a season full of sunshine and fun sailing. The Dude abides!
HH Catamarans is excited to announce our inclusion in the 2025 Caribbean Multihull Challenge. As a sponsor, we hope to grow participation amongst the HH fleet and help further the event's mission of providing a premier Caribbean event exclusively for multihulls. We're expecting entries in both the Regatta and Rally, which run simultaneously, taking participants around the buoys and through the French and Dutch Antilles over a weekend of exhilarating sailing and epic shoreside events. HH Catamarans will be contributing 50% of the registration fees for HH entrants, and hosting an evening for the HH crews at one of the rally stops. Owners with plans to be in the Caribbean this season should reach out for more information, and future owners be sure to put this event on your calendar for years to come!
If you are looking to jump quickly into a HH50 without the production wait, the beautiful 2024 HH50-OC 'Serenity' will likely soon be for sale. The yacht was sadly dismasted in January while in route to the Bahamas. It remains unclear what happened as all evidence was cut away, but HH has offered to fully repair the vessel at no cost to the owner. Once repaired, the boat will be in “like new” condition and still under warranty, which will extend to second hand owners. If you are interested in this unique opportunity, please contact sales@hhcatamarans.com for more information.
