The all new HH56 is an evolution of our award-winning HH55. It represents years of design and product development refinement as well as the integration of new technologies that make cruising more environmentally friendly, safe, enjoyable and luxurious. The larger HH56 salon features a forward helm station, our parallel hybrid EcoDrive, 4.5kW of solar, North 3Di Sails and a full suite of bluewater options as standard. Add optional tiller chairs aft with push-button sail controls to create the ultimate platform for whatever lies over the horizon.

  • The all carbon and epoxy HH56 has been completely re-designed, starting with an extension to the hull for additional waterline length, increased carrying capacity and improved LWL performance through the water.

The HHH56 includes our EcoDrive system, an industry leading parallel-hybrid propulsion system that retains the benefits and reliability of two trusty diesel engines yet combines them with high-powered 48V electric motors that can propel the boat without noise, fumes or vibration. And when motoring or at anchor, each hybrid engine can rapidly charge the large lithium-ion battery bank, removing the need for a generator; saving space, weight, and results in one less diesel engine onboard that needs servicing.

  • The HH56 comes with a new deck design based around a streamlined silhouette and a forward cockpit where all sail handling is performed, increasing safety with easier single-handed operation possible.

The forward cockpit also allows for several key advantages: the large cabin top area (void of lines or biminis) nearly doubles solar charging capacity, a lowered boom allows for an increased mainsail area with a lower center of effort, and the forward cockpit doors and windows provide generous ventilation through the salon and aft cockpit (which is more spacious with the traveler moved to the coachroof), making the forward nets easier to access.

  • For the interior we've integrated the modern styling of the HH44 and HH52. We completely reengineered the furniture layout that integrates a traditional island in the galley for improved flow throughout the salon, a larger cockpit optimized for socialization with seating on all four sides, huge safari windows to retain the opening between the salon and galley and improve the use of space in the middle of the boat, and modern interior design touches to elevate the comfort and aesthetics.

Designed with Electrification in Mind:

The electrified HH56 comes standard with a custom shaped, walkable, 4.5kW solar array that seamlessly disappears into the sleek lines of the coachroof. This is paired to a 48 volt electrical system, a 46.7kWh house battery bank and our innovative EcoDrive Parallel Hybrid Electric/Diesel propulsion system. This is an eco-friendly cruising yacht unlike any other available today.

EcoDrive, an Electric/Diesel Parallel Hybrid System

The HH56 has been designed to work with our parallel diesel/electric hybrid, a large solar array on the cabin top and hydro-regeneration while sailing.

Our EcoDrive provides all the benefits of an electric boat: silent fume free motoring, instant torque for maneuvering, and hydro-regeneration while sailing; while also providing the reliability of trusty diesel engines as a back up.

Superior Carbon Fiber Epoxy Construction:

The HH56 is engineered to handle the high loads of open-ocean sailing, exceeding ISO CE Class A requirements. All structural engineering has been reexamined and optimized based on years of experience, designing, building and sailing these performance cruising catamarans. Weight, strength and stiffness optimization have been the focus of the redesign and applies to not only the structure but to the interior design as well.

Ultra-Light Interiors

Inside you will find that weight, strength and stiffness optimization have also been applied to the joinery, cabinetry, galley counter materials, vents and wall coverings. More surfaces receive a painted finish that reduces the need for the added weight of laminated or covered surfaces, while upgrading the quality and longevity of our interior fit and finish. This combination of lightweight structure and design ultimately allows for an unparalleled sailing performance, especially in light air.

A Home Away From Home

The HH56 interior has been updated with modern styling and a completely redesigned furniture layout that integrates a traditional island to the galley for improved flow throughout the salon, a more social cockpit with seating on all four sides, safari windows to retain the large openings between the salon and galley yet improve the use of space in the middle of the boat, and modern interior design touches to elevate the comfort and aesthetics.

Customize your HH56 with four different layout options.

Choose from one of four different “General Arrangements” to further customize your HH56 to meet your cruising needs. Variations range from a standard 3-Cabin Owner’s Version to a 4-Cabin layout. Swap out staterooms for a Flex Space (workshop/office/bunk room) or create a 2-Cabin version with even more storage space. Add the optional Tiller Chairs to create the ultimate bluewater cruising yacht.

Arrangements shown may differ from the final yacht that goes into production as improvements and modifications are a normal part of the design process.*
